The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Evening all :frow Looks like I might be more distant for a while... Going to an 11 hour shift starting tomorrow... Looks like mon-thu and 9 hrs on friday (the boss wants to go home at 3:30 on Fridays). Tack an hour drive each way and that makes for a long day. Glad to get the cash, not so sure this old body will hold up if it turns out to be long term. So I'll visit you guys early morning and late evening going forward.

Oh wow o_o
Have you ever been to Korea?

I lived in Kunsan for a year and have been to Osan and Sole multiple times since. I need to learn how to make all the wonderful varieties of kimchi and remember how to make bulgogi... And of course Yaki-mandu and tempura... I loved the flavors there for the most part. I learned to drink Korean beer and soju. We had a cab stand across the street from my building and I ate lunch there every day. Have no Idea what I ate, but it was great. When I lived in VA I could buy Korean food from the international market frozen, but here in TN no Asian markets that I've found.

Flowers bursting open all over the place. Today i got about 3/4 of another raised bed hand tilled and planted my sweet potato starts. Some of my beans need to be replanted as they have not come up. But i find having my hands in soil very therapeutic.
