Good morning everyone, hi Bob!

Going to be a long one today. I'm going in to work in around 6am to do a bunch of stuff, then off to an appointment and rush back for the lunch crowd. Won't be back home until about 8 tonight. We have a group of 40 to feed Friday and a small tournament to feed Saturday. If you start to smell something in the air, it's all the meat we'll be smoking between now and Friday

My bator is chirping....

I have read about incubators form China that play songs. Chirping would be good too!

Are the chicks internally pipped or have some hatched?

Accidentally locked myself out of the adjoining room and of course I did the deadbolt on the other room so the key won't work

They sent someone up but I have the bolt on so he couldn't open it so he had to call the guy with the latch remover. Hopefully they will be here soon.

You would think they would have some way to just open the adjoining door but apparently not.

Seems like kind of a pain to cut the latch off or whatever they door.

I figured you could just push the adjoining door open but apparently not. It locks. Safety I guess?

And I did the deadbolt and latch for safety. Not doing that anymore lol

My key of course doesn't work with the deadbolt on. His worked but with the deadbolt, the door wouldn't open. I thought maybe I could just reach in and undo the deadbolt from outside but apparently not.

Wow that was a surprisingly easy fix. And scary how easy it was. The guy had radioed about a latch remover but this young kid that came up next comes in and says oh you can actually open it with this. And just sticks the do not disturb sign in the adjoining door till it popped open! Scarily easy and good reason to use the deadbolt on the adjoining door if you aren't renting both rooms. Also embarrassing cause I could have done that myself...

But I am so glad this young kid is innovative and invented a way to not have to use the complicated stupid latch remover

No at a hotel haha we have a big suite with adjoining rooms cause we had the points. The business one with the bedroom and like sitting room.

Scarily easy! It just popped open!

And definitely! I was actually in the sitting room part but got locked out of the bedroom part. I tried to go out and use the key but the key deactivates with the deadbolt and privacy latch on. So it didn't work.

But thankfully this kid knew how to fix it easily.

The other room also has the bathroom LOL
