Totally hate going to the dentist....haven’t been there for many years:oops:With 12 kids there was no money for that growing up so I didn’t go until I was 20 and had dental insurance. Teeth were great surprisingly...no cavities...still no cavities but since I haven’t been there for a long time I get to do and intense clean which is pricey. I love the new dentist....same clinic as my son went to that was so pricey...I had the wife he had the husband. I tried 2 others and I couldn’t get in. She said my teeth look really good other then that. The one and only other dentist I had was creepy!!

I was the same growing up. No Dental insurance for a period and then to the dentist. I did have some cavities though.

I do go every 6 months. The cleanings are much better than they were. I have an electric tooth brush that gets more tartar

I will go every 6 months after this as I know I’m not going to enjoy the deep clean. She’s scheduled extra time due to I may freak out. :gigI have a battery operated one I got about a year ago and teeth are definitely more clean. I also am going to consult on some braces for my front teeth. I had beautiful straight teeth until about 10 years ago and then all of a sudden my front tooth shifted. She said they could crown them to get rid of the gap but they’d probably be bigger and I said no as I don’t want to look like I had chiclets in my mouth.:lauRemember them?

That first cleaning after several years can be brutal!

I do remember chiclets gum
