The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

He said he'd call Jennifer back - said that she felt so terrible about the way Tam was treated in the way selling her house was handled and knows her time crunch better than anyone else, and she'd most likely work triple hard to get her into this new place if for no other reason than she felt so guilty over practically throwing Tam out homeless. :fl
There ARE good people out there.

I wonder if Tam can get money from the lady selling the house she is in since her "deal" was she was fixing stuff up and her rent was supposedly at least partially "rent to buy". It was HER work and money that improved the house to the point it was sellable. She should at least be reimbursed for the costs and her "percentage of rent payment" that was supposed to go toward ownership.

Good morning Bob, DMC and others yet to show up!

Bob, how did your first day of the new job go?

Went slow and frustrating but all worked out. Laptop didn't arrive until afternoon and the instructions for how to get into it weren't where they were supposed to be. Didn't get in it until Tuesday morning, but been humming along every since. Training, lots of training.

Blooie, that was good news and a very nice house.

DMC, I can sympathize with you on the heat (and we've even have had some humidity:eek:). Working all day in the restaurant kitchen is miserable right now. I am so looking forward to cooler weather!
I feel for you!! My youngest is on a job right now and they are putting pipe in, he’s in the hole. I told him to bring gatorade to drink along with water. 102* heat index right now.

Her new house won't need much at all. When we looked at it she kept mumbling, "I don't need a paintbrush!" "I don't need to go out with Dad's chain saw and cut any trees down!" She marveled at it all! Ken's lodge had a meeting a couple of days ago and he told them, "I have never asked this lodge for anything, but I'm asking now. I need pickups and bodies to help Tam move stuff out of her house in Byron and at least get it into the storage shed until she can find a place." Without hesitation the guys set up a moving party and will all show up over there and do it at one time! Of course, she didn't have this house then, but she'll still need to put things in storage until the people that are in it move out. It looks empty in some photos, but when we went over for the showing that wasn't the case - the owner has transferred to Hawaii so his wife and kids had moved back in until the house sold and they could join him.

I'll try the Trulia thing again, Debby. @ronott1 said that the interior photos worked by clicking on the main photo and then clicking "show thumbnails" link. It's a cute little yellow house and totally turnkey-and-move-in.
