Cap, I am sorry to read about your hubby's dad. Sending my prayers.....

Hubby's Dad is not doing well. They rushed him to the ER for care, he had a third blood transfusion. They are not sure where he is bleeding. They did say his organs are shutting down. He is 89. Hubby's parents planned to come visit after his trip up to see them, but it seems unlikely that will happen. Hubs is leaving for NS on the 22nd, unless there is news before that.
I feel bad about the whole thing.

San Jose was a nice place back then. Now (and for decades) it is just another overcrowded asphalt jungle.

@CapricornFarm sorry to hear about your FIL. It's tough seeing our parents failing. My dad passed away in 2010 and he knew it was coming sooner, rather than later...that was a hard conversation, where he told me it was getting close. Hugs and prayers for you and all your family.
