What's going on in your part of the world today?

Hi Debby! Not much...caught one of them nasty summer colds so no energy. My friend didn't think she was contagious when I cleaned there on Tuesday I do need to pick beans though and it looks like it’s going to rain so might not get that done either. What are you up too?

Sorry to hear you've got a cold. Take it easy and get some down time!

I was all excited this morning to fix up some planters DH made but now it's raining. What's up with that? We hardly get rain at all and my first chance to plant flowers in 2 years it RAINS. Hopefully, I'll be able to get out later today to plant. DH did make some cool planters though...pretty reasonable priced too (made from smallish livestock waterers and cedar fencing):

Kind of, sort of, plus it just seemed to "fit" him. He was our little dumped kitten that showed up at our door...just a starving, dirty ball of fluff. He has since taken over the house, rules over the 2 older cats and is a whopping 14 pounds of personality.

Actually, DD, this is one cat you might sort of like...he acts like he's part dog. He follows me around, understands a lot of words and even begs at the dinner table!
