Us too ,we need it badly. I think i will work on getting plants in the ground. I have lots still in pots. It's a beautiful low humidity morning - thunder storms to start this afternoon and continue through most of next week.

I wouldn’t!!Home. Dead tired. Just looking in. I’ll be back....after I get off my feet and sleep for a week. How the he11 does anyone live in a huge city?
Thats a long bean, never heard of it.Fortex. The plants will go 7+ feet so having the arched arbor is helpful. Some of the beans are easy picking hanging down from above. The beans themselves are good and still edible when they are 10" long. Not that anyone would let them get away like that. But of course you need to let some go if you want beans to plant the next year.
How unusual
Poorly.
There is nothing better then then the sounds of nature! They don't live, they survive. I've lived in Houston and Dallas, absolutely hateded it but had to for a short while....I've for the most part have lived in the countryside. I could not live in the city...got to have peace and quite, hear the coyote howling, birds singing and nights so quite, it's deafing!![]()
Sounds like a perfect morning! No, just enjoying the sunrise and catching up on chicken things...
Begonias, roses, holly bushes, wegelia, some other bushes idk what they are, boxwoods, evergreens of some sort, day lillies, geraniums, a daliah, and i am sure there are others. I can't resist a bargain plant... oh yeah, 2 apple trees and a pear tree.My big event for the day is getting a hair cut (DH cuts it for me)! Been way too long since the last one and I'm so looking forward to getting this stuff off my head
Cap, what kind of plants are you planting?

Lots of them have been sitting around for a while. If it will rain, the soil will be much easier to dig. These lillies are red and orangish in the middle. A deer or something has been eating my other lillies. I really need this flower garden fenced. Sigh, another job to do.Sounds like you have a full day planned (or few days?). Love day lilies![]()

).Which is better than the deafening sounds of loud exhaust, car horns, people talking loudly, sirens, etcgot to have peace and quite, hear the coyote howling, birds singing and nights so quite, it's deafing!![]()

Same here. If there is no other noise, I hear 'eeeeeeeeeeeeee' all the time.Sounds great Sean, the peace & quiet but I have tinnitus (ringing & noises in the ear). When it's very quiet it sounds deafening . If I put ear plugs in - I can hear my heartbeat very loud. Sometimes I hear crickets or frogs in the dead of winter![]()
Truth!!Things do have a way of multiplying. You know what they say Cap, "a woman's work is never done" (ok, that's just the way I say it).
