I grew up in Toronto.Um, no they don’t - they’re all on the multi lane highways, city streets, and interstates. At the same time! <sigh>
I now have 100 acres all to myself.
Would I ever go back? Not a chance in he11.

Me too! It's so loud when it's quiet. Still, I'll take all of the noises in my head over sirens, blaring horns, general road traffic and other city noises any day of the week.Sounds great Sean, the peace & quiet but I have tinnitus (ringing & noises in the ear). When it's very quiet it sounds deafening . If I put ear plugs in - I can hear my heartbeat very loud. Sometimes I hear crickets or frogs in the dead of winter![]()
I hear 3 different tones/pitches. 2 are very high, and I manage to tune those out for the most part. Now that I'm in the the country I hear a mid range kind of pulsating thrum. There are times it's so loud that it wakes me up. That's saying a lot considering I sleep through tornadoes and earthquakes.I have the same thing Diva, that's why when it is quite, it's deafing!so quite it hurts my ears! I hear high pitch ringing all the time, actually it's more like a high pitch buzz. It gets so quite here sometimes I have actually heard a snake crawling about 10 feet away from me, while sitting outside and BBQing. I can't hear anything above about 8000 Hz but 3000Hz and below, I'm good!

Years ago, before we had kids, i had 13 dogs and i baked dog cookies. Made up my own recipe. Not sure if i could find it. Some even had cat food in them. But they had to be refiridgerated of course. Let me look.
No, i probably never wrote it down or it got lost in a move. Sorry.
Ooooo IBegonias, roses, holly bushes, wegelia, some other bushes idk what they are, boxwoods, evergreens of some sort, day lillies, geraniums, a daliah, and i am sure there are others. I can't resist a bargain plant... oh yeah, 2 apple trees and a pear tree.
dahlias. Someday I'll grow them. Will just have to dig the tubers up every fall.Both. They were all house dogs, some were shown at Canadian Kennel Club shows. That's okay! Thanks for looking. But wow, 13 dogs!? Were they pets or did you breed them?
Both. They were all house dogs, some were shown at Canadian Kennel Club shows.

I'm going to go on a rant here, .
Anybody ever baked any dog biscuits/cookies? Thinking of trying it, just for fun, and wondering if anyone had ever tried it or had favorite recipes. I know there are some bakers here but I can't imagine dog treats are something you guys would bake. But figured I would ask. Got some new cookie sheets yesterday. I know there are recipes online but I get a little overwhelmed because there are sooo many and I never know where to start first.
