I relate. In addition I seem to have the ability to irritate some with my answers. Just imagine if I tried to do so.

I know! I tried giving advice on quarantining new flock members and got chewed out!

Not too long ago, someone demanded that I leave their thread. I thought I was being nice but apparently was not. That thread was about purposely incubating at too high of a temp to get only pullets to hatch. It was an experiment I was told so mind my own business. How dare I bring in poultry studies....oops!

And I once got an official patty-slap for commenting that I must have missed the part in Storey’s that said food and water for chicks must always be warm. This was to the same lady who came into my thread and argued that Mama Heating Pad was just like an MRI to chicks which makes MHP harmful and that heat lamps are essential for not only warming chicks but also keeping their food and water warm. I kinda had that reprimand coming because sarcastic responses are rarely a good idea, but in my defense the woman seemed to be stalking me and posting snide nasties no matter what I said. Love that blocking feature!!

I have not had the stalking problem is a while. That mostly happened on the old format.

I did lock up my profile a bit though so maybe trolling is harder now? You can set the profile so that only people following you can find your posts

Does that mean finding it in search? But still able to see it in the actual thread?

It mostly locks up your profile so that the postings are not seen. It makes it harder to stalk someone on here.

I got grief for posting only constructive improvements on the coop thread. Sorry, I follow too many threads on 3 forums to spend time fawning on something that clearly has some functional/security problems when someone asks "what do you all think". If you don't want to know, don't ask!

It mostly locks up your profile so that the postings are not seen. It makes it harder to stalk someone on here.

Ohh locks the profile page, that makes more sense. I thought it meant hid the posts in search or on threads but maybe that is what block does

And while we're on the subject of inadvertently irritating other members (we were, right?)...

Once there were 2 members upset with each other (over something that seemed totally trivial to moi) and when I tried to make peace between them, I'm the one they ended up mad at! Crazy People are funny.
