Good morning DMC and everyone

Last night's dinner meeting was pretty much a fiasco. I need someone to give me a swift kick to get me in gear for today...just not feeling motivated. Any volunteers?

What went wrong? Better question is what went right It all boiled down to a bunch of rude people who ate, made a big mess, one of them gave me grief for the amount of food prepared (even though there was food left over I had to throw out) and then they left without paying. The person in charge that set it up didn't attend so today DH has to contact that person for payment. Burns me up we went to a LOT of work for that sort of treatment

Time to move on and gear up for the tournament tomorrow and the other one on Sunday.

I HATE customers like that. There's just no pleasing some people. I hope that the tournamens go smoothly for you and that you're heaped with praise from everyone.

bumble boy is in quarantine resting. His spur looks like it's falling off on its own. I'll be unwrapping & checking everything over shortly. Then it's on to the 4 or more bumble girls...

You got a whole lotta bumble going on! Will you have to do the surgery? I did that 3 times on my FL flock...not fun (for me or the birds) but the surgeries went well.

Sounds like you had a storm of your own, Debby. I don't blame you for being disgusted.

We got nailed here yesterday. I think Darth Vader died. Found a big piece of bark from that tree in the yard. We'll have to wait until the next major snowfall to know for sure if it changed the pattern on the tree enough to make him all gone. But that's small potatoes compared to the rest of the damage. Tam's house in Lovell had all the windows on the north side smashed. Got a bit of video last night but we're going over there later today to get better shots. By the time we got over there from here (6 miles) there was already a crew there and they had 2 of the windows boarded up already and were working on the other. The current owner, who is living in Hawaii) had already filed a claim and had a crew out there cleaning it up while many people were still standing in the streets looking stunned and trying to figure out where to start.

We got it here pretty bad, too, but during just that little distance between here and Lovell the storm increased significantly in intensity. Fiona thought she died and went to doggie heaven - acres and acres of ice cubes and tree branches to chew and it was all hers!! Some reports of tornado but nothing confirmed yet. We had golfball (and bigger) sized hail and 60+ mph winds.

What a terrible group! I get asked often why don't you open a restaurant. Having to deal with some of the public is one reason.

I borrowed this incubator, so want to be able to return it in pristine condition.

Maybe a weak bleach solution or diluted hydrogen peroxide?

I've done 2 girls & the roo. Need you check on the 2, and there's at least 2 in a different coop.
Then it's on to ivermectin for everyone and cleaning poopy butts. Oh joy.
