That's why you're so green and we're so brown. Sometimes I miss those FL rains (although 6" or more at one time were a bit much ).

6” is a lot at one time. It’s good and bad...hubby just put up a new shed and hauled dirt around it which is now washing away. Half of one of our fields is under water. We did need rain again but only in certain spots. We have had no dry grass at all this year...or fields. All have been timely rains.

Thanks for the feedback on the Cotton Patch. When/if the time comes when I can get some geese, I'll have to take a look at them. Hey, maybe by then I can get some from you!

They go by precipitation which is both rain and snow together. We need a lot of snow moisture up in the Sierras!
