Do you have a lot of lawn to mow?

My front lawn is about 40' wide and 1/4 mile long... I only cut about 100 yards of it now. It's the 20 degree incline that takes it out of you. Then out by the barn I have a 1/2 acre pasture that gets mowed.

Everyone chipped in and bought them shoes. They never won a game, but were applauded every time they entered the field.

They never won because they had those unfamiliar things strapped to their feet! Couldn't run, can't dig their toes in.
That was quite the gesture, I bet they really appreciated it.

It's the 20 degree incline that takes it out of you.

Is the 20° going "down" the 1/4 mile or across? Not sure I'd want to be on a 20° side slope. In any case, don't expect your new rider to back up that hill.

it's across from the drive to the house... The 1/4 mile is a gentler slope in most places.
