Wash your hands out with soap Michelle!!! ;)

Glad the foundation work is starting. Soon you will be in your house.

You guys worry me sometimes.
Only SOMETIMES??

Apparently you have never met 'metaflossis linenitis' - the Alaskan linen moth. ;)
Al will be OK as long as there aren't any 'metaflossis carhartitis' moths around.

not sure what a no see'um is, we didn't have them in florida where i'm from, everything else yes, but no,:idunno no see'ums
How would you know, they are invisible that is why they are called no see ums.

I guess that's why he's using linen floss.
He's high class, most of us have to use the regular stuff.

Take some good pics, would love to see them!
Not really great, because they refused to stop moving!

Maybe i can get some better pictures when they get used to me!

When I lived in Mississippi, the first one I ever saw grossed me completely out.....and those monsters FLY to boot! Holy smokes, when they're climbing up the side of something you get warning....the antennae show up 10 minutes before the giant bug gets there!! <shudder> The second day we were there, we got home from a quick trip out to eat and when I flipped on the light in the living room there were fiddler crabs in there! Okay, see ya, Mississippi!

The new neighbors came over to introduce herself on day three. Nice lady, even if I couldn't understand what she was saying. I said something about not being used to sharing my house with critters aside from dogs and told her about the giant roaches and fiddler crabs. "Oh, jes' leave 'em be, hon. Them's Palmetta (palmetto) bugs and they're all over down here. The fiddler crabs'll eat 'em and keep 'em down some." Um, ewwwwww?

Edited. Oh, Hades!! Posted this then saw that there were 200 conversations after the bug one. So never mind. Can't keep up when we're traveling.

I swell up from bug bites too...especially flies. I have lots of bites right now but it’s a variety of things I think munching on me. I’ve slept like crap all week due to it. They itch like the dickens and hurt too.
Get your doctor to prescribe Atarax, really helps the itching.

its heck when you wake yourself up scratching, i have long fingernails and sometimes break my skin and bleed too
I hear ya! I don’t have long nails but can do damage with what I have. I switched out my sheets the other day and had to peroxide all the blood spots from my bites. My nails are getting longer though since getting these awful braces I can’t bite them.:gig
Yuck!!

"No see'ums?
We have no see ums, they are awful!!
My men would be drooling over that machine.
When I was at my grandparents' place in St. Petersburg, I opened the kitchen cupboard and one of those dang palette roaches came flying out at me and got tangled in my hair.
I would have totally lost my cool!!

I take an allergy pill every day. I can’t imagine how bad it would be without it. I have something wrong that causes hives from pressure or itching. Absolutely sucks!
