oh, i was raised in ft.walton bch, met husband when he was stationed down at hulbert air force base LOOOONG time ago. if we had no seeums i never knew it but we had everything else, some of those were my toys and pets, altho tree frogs were kinda rare, guess thats why snakes don't bother me altho i will kill a poisonous one if i run across one, everything else is safe

we bought a little place down there in a little town called defuniak springs,husband can't take the cold and snow anymore so we go down in dec and stay til sometime in april, whenever a frog or lizard gets in the house, i just catch them and take them back outside. theres a lot of the green tree frogs there, they usually hide during the day unless its raining, they would dry out fast otherwise. coming back this april, we had a hitch hiker, our son found a tree frog in our trailer, grandson wanted him so hes living the life of riley with all the crickets he can eatI enjoyed the lizards and tree frogs...as long as they stayed outside the house
I have bugs galore here in TN... Some eat me others ignore me. I like the others.

our house was about three miles from hurlbert , many a time my sister and i would be sitting in a boat in the bay across from the landing field when the planes would come in. what year were you there?
