You have some decisions to make!

Thanks! I definitely do! And as much as I love this whole farming/having lots of animals and a huge garden thing, I think I would have a lot of fun in a city. And as long as I was able to take at least one animal, like Luna, or get a dog (I know I wouldn't be able to take Gator :lau ), I think I'd be okay. But I am somewhat conflicted just because I don't really normally like cities because they are so loud and not much green but from what I understand, Pittsburgh seems to be more spread out and less "city like" than other cities and also has a lot of green spaces nearby so I think it'd be fine. Especially if I was also dog walking and outside a lot. I do think that I should at least visit it first though and I plan to do that at some point. But it is supposed to be a great city to live in. The only other question then becomes how long I would want to live there because I don't think I necessarily want it to be forever or a super long term thing (more than a few years) but I'm not really sure. I may end up loving it and decide to stay longer or I may totally hate it and want to leave after the first lease is over. I don't think I'll end up hating it but who knows. Anything is possible. And of course I would have to keep my loyalty to Boston/New England sports a secret if I want to make any friends. :lau

Holy cow! Hilarious on the facelift though:gig

Oooh, Cap, hope your lip gets better quick. Ouch! How's your hand now?

We took another drive up north to look at a different property. We want to go and take a second look at it (minus the kids) to make sure we could fit the house we want somewhere. It's pretty much a gully but it has a lot of bush on it. There was a ringneck pheasant wandering off into the trees when we arrived, some Rosellas appeared not long after, and I heard some Fantails somewhere. The house would have to sit up very high (beautiful views though) and we'd have to create a path down into the bush as it's very steep. It's had pines on it but they have mostly been cleared. There's enough scrap wood laying about to keep us in firewood forever.

It's the first property DH has liked so we'll see. I loved seeing all the birds as our garden is full of them and I'd hate to move somewhere that was just a few treeless paddocks.

How'd your house visit go @N F C ?

I'd better toddle off to bed. I woke up at 2.30am this morning!

Morning all :frow

@JaeG that piece of property sounds nice with all the birds (and your DH likes it, that's always a plus)! Our house inspection went pretty well from what the inspector told us, but we'll know more later today when we get the report.

@CapricornFarm your poor lip! Do you have anything to numb it for a while?

@rjohns39 sounds like you had fun with the GD and the pistachios :D But you're probably right about the boozy chocolates (once she's a teen, she can sneak into them on her own:lol:)

Woke up way too early and the head cold is wearing me out...if I disappear for a while today, it's because I conked out.
