I suspect it would be better to pay professionals to keep you anonymous and manage $500 million, not something we mere mortals would do well at.

I can't even imagine how I would spend $500M. Even if it was stuck in a bank at .5% it would still return $250K a year.

Someone who didn't have animals anymore and just didn't want to deal with it? Could be someone inherited the farm and are cleaning out. I wonder how musty moldy that stuff is.
