Lotto winnings would go into a Jewelry shop and a Metal shop... for making horse drawn carriages.

my latest effort

Now it looks like this

close up 2.jpg

Its already claimed.... actually was commissioned

I finally learned how to get the color to pop on the stone... Which required me turning off the flash and messing with the F stop.

here is what Blue Flash Laboradite looks like with regular camera flash but this picture shows the whole neck lace... Every inch of the wire and chain is hand made by me... By no means am I an expert... But I am learning. I have been doing this about nine months. Across a whole year. Took a break for cancer surgery and recovery.

They are very nice!

They are very nice!
thanks Ron. Sadly my original source for laboradorite has moved on to wholesale.
Which means I wont be able to pick and choose the color or veining.... sigh. But the trade off is for the cost of a single stone I could get fifteen or twenty....

If I have to start buying wholesale I will be selling off the stones I dont want to keep...

My goal eventually will be to supplement/support my livestock habit... horses goats
chickens guineas,

With the Carriage workshop I want to design and build Tubular steel off road horse drawn vehicles. There is a good market for them. This will allow me to make Animal enclosures and reinforcement for predator protection. Again a good market for this.

Of course I wouldnt do full on production till I could hire someone that would take orders from a woman...

That sounds like a nice business to get into. Will you get a stall at a farmers market?

There are very few farmers markets... most are in the city here.

But I will do a webpage for sales The horse drawn carriages will probably go on Craigs list or web page. The ones that come from Europe run about ten grand... to start.
I am hoping to be able to make em for around two.... so we will see.
