Oh, you haven't heard half of it yet, Kelsey! Some peeps go to no end to win! That's why I use to ride my show calf outta the arena...she should have place first but some of my competitors were relatives of the judges. It's just sad ....and a "hollow" victory!
I guess I had better call the meteorologist, it's broke here but we're getting plenty of sunshine piped in today!
After 3 more phone calls, 2 emails and another document e-signed, looks like we are (maybe, hopefully, pretty sure) ready to go with the house closing this coming Friday!
Things are getting real now
Plymouth is just under 60,000 by a coule hundred. And I don't even consider that a city. But Plymouth is massive land wise but still.
They even cheat at plant shows- years ago I had a friend that grew & showed African Violets. One of the most important features for showing was how many flowers were open day of judging. She told me some people used egg white to glue flowers back on.
Some plants had "stick tight," blossoms- others would have flowers that dropped off prematurely for any reason under the sun. I never wanted to show plants so it didn't affect me but, I could not believe that even at plant level people cheated.
