Make others do my work for me? I like the way you think.Ah, don't leave! If you get too far behind, just skip to the end and ask if you missed anything important.
What do you have going on? I could lend you my walker. I had my other knee replaced about 4 weeks ago. I'm no good either at waiting to heal. The back is getting me through. Right after a Ken left for the meeting I ran a hot bath and soaked until the water cooled, let some of that out and then refilled with more hot. First hotel we’ve stayed at that had a tub nice and low, with multiple grab bars, so I felt pretty secure without him here to help me get in the the and then back out. How long does it take this to heal? I’m taking all the precautions, using the cane, taking the meds....I just feel so defeated and worthless to Ken just when he needs me the most. I’m not patient with this kind of garbage anyway, but the timing and the darn duration of this is getting me down.
We’ve traveled through some unbelievable scenery - places in Wyoming that I’ve read about or seen photos of on one of my favorite Facebook pages, “Wyoming Through The Lens”, but there’s something about being there. I’ve overloaded my iPad and my phone with photos and videos, and none of them really capture the beauty and ruggedness, the isolation of this place we call home. I wish so much that you all could see it the way those of us who live here can. I’m learning so much since Ken’s year started.

Yikes, that's no fun either. Sometimes those need surgery. Hopefully yours calms down. I've had that sciatica nerve pain before, I hated that. I sat on a tennis ball when in the car, stuck it under the hurting cheek. It did help.I herniated a disk in my back a couple of weeks ago, OH, and it’s pinching my sciatic nerve. I have a walker, but with all this traveling I just didn’t want to drag it along. I also have my wheelchair, but I hate that thing and it’s buried so far back in the garage that the only creatures happy that I have one are the spiders probably living on it.We’ll have 2 days at home after we get there tomorrow, but then we hit the road for 3 more days.

It pushes on the nerve and can relieve the pain and loosen the muscle.A tennis ball? That's interesting
