The back is getting me through. Right after a Ken left for the meeting I ran a hot bath and soaked until the water cooled, let some of that out and then refilled with more hot. First hotel we’ve stayed at that had a tub nice and low, with multiple grab bars, so I felt pretty secure without him here to help me get in the the and then back out. How long does it take this to heal? I’m taking all the precautions, using the cane, taking the meds....I just feel so defeated and worthless to Ken just when he needs me the most. I’m not patient with this kind of garbage anyway, but the timing and the darn duration of this is getting me down.
We’ve traveled through some unbelievable scenery - places in Wyoming that I’ve read about or seen photos of on one of my favorite Facebook pages, “Wyoming Through The Lens”, but there’s something about being there. I’ve overloaded my iPad and my phone with photos and videos, and none of them really capture the beauty and ruggedness, the isolation of this place we call home. I wish so much that you all could see it the way those of us who live here can. I’m learning so much since Ken’s year started.
