The shelters are full in Chico. The closest shelter is 30 miles but the gas stations have no fuel. Many were camping out overnight on church lawns. Hopefully red cross will get them help soon

Dang! It really does sound like what happened in Ft. McMurray here. Poor people had to drive through flames at a snail's pace, then all ran out of gas. There's nothing on the highway up there. The fire hit so fast that nobody was able to evacuate early.

I toom the dogs on a really long walk/the beach and took some awesome photos but then I accidentally deleted the best one tried a file recovery app but it didn't work so I'm downloading something on my laptop so I don't have to root my phone. I have been FREAKING OUT, even practically cried when I couldn't find my laptop charger and it was dead, which I know is really really stupid but this picture was AWESOME. I'm so upset

What happened was I was trying to zoom in but then when I exited the editing mode, the original was super zoomed in so I thought I had accidentally already saved a zoomed in one and was like oh I don't want that since I decided not to edit it and hit delete but... well... turns out it was the original. And hadn't been posted or saved anywhere yet

We got a tiny bit of freezing rain here last night. The house moving truck spun out on the way here, so they turned around and headed back to their shop. No idea when it's going to be set now, as things are about to warm up and it will be a mucky mess here.

Have you had your thyroid checked?

No I haven't but I think I might also just be really stressed from other stuff maybe too. And hungry. Plus tired from walking so far. And would thyroid show up in normal bloodwork?

And yeah I know but this one was truly AWESOME. Three dogs jumping off a ledge simultaneously. Franklin was still standing there aha but the synchronized jump was truly awesome. And the program couldn't finish downloading on my laptop for some reason, some error, so I guess I can't even try that option which may have worked better than phone apps and didn't require rooting.
