Yeah, I didn't have his tusk removed. He only tried to bite me once. He chopped down on my calf, thank goodness i had boots on or it could have been really bad. His tushes were only a out 1" at the time but they went through the boot uppers and into my calf about a 1/2", that wasn't so bad, I bled but the amount of force in his bite is what hurt the most. Just glad he as still small only about 2 months old. After that, he found out who was boss...they are very stubborn, hard headed animals. He wanyed to do something and I wouldn't let him...he never tried that again.
He had a game he would play with the toilet paper in the bathroom. He'd unroll it then take off running all over the house with the paper in tow! finally had to just keep the doors shut to all rooms except the one I was in.

, yes, worse than little kids, never had to child proof the house, but had to pig proof for wilbur, took husband quite a while to remember to shut his bathroom door, wilbur tore up the flooring several times, along with toilet papering it but hes never offered to bite me that i remember and i think i would have remembered something like that. yes. wilbur is quite stubborn, but will do anything i want him to, if hes not sure, a pig treat will have him doing it real fast, food you know
have to go buy him another bed, he loves to tear it up and have stuffing all around like snow

morning everyone
anyone else up? wilbur woke me up around 3 and tried but can't go back to sleep, its also cold here,24* but at least no snow

I am now. Actually woke up at 3, peed, back to bed still awake at 3:30, got up to deal with the cat barf I heard coming. Still awake at 4 when DW went pee, still awake at 4:30. Must have "cat napped" on and off until a bit after 6 when the cats decided to see if any lazy human was planning to get up and feed them.

Apparently he took after his "father"

He had a game he would play with the toilet paper in the bathroom. He'd unroll it then take off running all over the house with the paper in tow! finally had to just keep the doors shut to all rooms except the one I was in.

DD1's cat did that. We had to keep the bathroom doors closed. At this house we keep the paper in the drawer next to the toilet. Kinda confuses guests if we forget to tell them.

Yep, the difference I think is Pedro was wild and wilbur is domesticated. My mom and dad could handle him for the first 9 to 11 months but after that he became a one person animal. Didn't like dogs or cats and if I let him, he would have killed them and my chickens, too!
I trained him to be walked with a harness on and that's the only way he would be let out after he got older. Had a huge fenced off area for him with an insulated pig house for him to get into when he stayed outside. He loved burying himself in the hay I put in his house for bedding.

i for one am glad you're not hurting
man its cold out there, even with gloves, my hands are froze, my young chickens are cold, they're not use to this and i have a heat lamp on them and speaking of gloves, have to wash them, yesterday i put them on to feed and water, took them off when i came back inside and all of a sudden, i smelt stinkbug, must have one in there and i didn't feel him, had to use bleach to get the smell off my hand and even then i could still get a whiff every once in awhile

wow, bad tempered
when i first brought wilbur home, i had a black and white french bulldog, wilbar must have thought she was his momma cause he followed her everywhere running and spinning and playing around her, when he got a little older, she was the best looking thing he had ever seen, thats when i knew it was time to visit the vet, after he wanted to play again and he still likes husbands dog but i no longer have my frenchie, had to have her cross the rainbow bridge in aug

Sorry your frenchie has crossed the rainbow bridge. They are super neat dogs, I've been seeing more and more of them.
My doctor's office has a Starbucks right next to it, and I often see two ladies in there with their frenchies . Funny, going in I petted them and we were friends. After I finished with the doctor and "smelled" medicinal - the dogs wouldn't have anything to do with me.

when i got sadie mae, had to have her shipped to me from utah , they must have been a puppy mill for frenchies because she was terrified of everything and everybody, took me three years of taking her to work with me, before she found out that people were nice and she could trust them but she finally figured it out and then loved everyone. i also bought a male from russia , he was a site cheaper and very well socialized, gave him to our son who lives next door and sadie passed in aug, clyde just passed two days ago and he was a year younger, he also was a pied

Beautiful dog. Did Clyde really come from Russia, wow, that's a long way. I didn't even know they bothered with pure bred dogs.

When I was actively growing streptocarpus plants - some of the nicest imports came from Russia. But they preferred huge growing plants - didn't have room for them on light stands.

Also was told some lines needed lots of fertilizer, and some hated it. They never did say which. They were not a success here but, ones from a Polish hybridizer were/are 'out of this world 'gorgeous.
