I sure hope Opie is OK @N F C. Poor boy.

Our weather is warm, wet and sticky. We are supposedly in for a good storm on Christmas Eve (tomorrow) and Christmas Day. Hopefully there won't be any flooding for anyone near the coast as it coincides with a king tide on Christmas Day.

I've kept the kids busy decorating many melting snowman biscuits so the day has gone pretty fast. Tomorrow we are going to try making some cornflake Christmas wreaths. It's melted marshmallows coloured green with cornflakes mixed through and shaped into wreaths then decorated with sweets. Not sure how that's going to go in this weather, but we'll see.

Reports were that Casper had the highest wind speed ever recorded there - 80mph with higher gusts. Glad you’re home safely....others weren’t so lucky.


Well, MRI Christmas to us! Tee hee - you have to read that right for it to make any sense! I suppose that, like me, you won’t get any results until after the holidays.



Oh, Opie, if you’re trying to drive Mom crazy, you’re going about it the right way. We’ve been keeping a close eye on Fee, too. So far the score is Tree, 0 Fiona 1. We were in the bedroom wrapping gifts before the kids got here and heard a distinct “POP”. Yep, one ornament down and her attempt at chewing it wasn’t real successful. <sigh>

We actually have absolutely nothing planned for today. You all know it’s a holiday today, right? It’s National Clean Thanksgiving Leftovers Out of the Fridge to Make Way for the Christmas Goodies and Future Leftovers Day. Wonder if Hallmark makes a card for that.....

I figure results on Thursday maybe.

An early good morning to you all!

I fell asleep on the couch watching tv and now can't get back to sleep in bed This might be a long day.

Opie seems to be a little bit better. He pretty much slept throughout most of yesterday but for the first time, he was purring this morning.

DH comes home today so that will make everyone happier!

Cold? What cold?...it's only 47°F here, suppose to get to 77°F today. I woke up at 4pm yesterday and have been up since then, the usual reason....pain. anyway, I'm not hurting right now but I'm getting sleepy again. Just brewed a fresh pot of coffee to wake up a bit.
