Have you tried biotin?

i did for about six months, to my the hair get stronger, didn't help , course my nails were already as hard as metal nailsso i read about collagen, been on it about eight months now, that has helped with the hair, i have long hair now and its kept it from spitting as much

Foremaldahyde is suppose to harden nails too but I wouldn't want carcinogenic chemicals on my hands.

Collagen is supposed to be good too. They sell like a powder you can put in drinks or food. It’s supposed to be an extremely important protein for a lot of functions in the body

My mom was southern, she never used that phrase but you knew if you were in hades! her phrase was "Wait till your dad gets home" that put the fear of God into ya!

yep, thats definility a southern thing, every time momma couldn't deal with me, out came the "wait til you're daddy gets home"

I will be going to the drugstore to get both of these...can I use them together?

just use the collagen , it does both, i get the powder kind and mix it with my coffee every morning, i usually buy mine from ebay, a tub of 20 oz

I'm dealing with crippling osteo- arthritis. Got it in every major joints,but do not tolerate pain meds except ibuprofen. Other stronger meds cause allergic reaction. It would be great to not ache all the time. I will let you know if it helps...maybe even send you a thank you note!

just remember, takes a couple of months to start working, i have arthritis bad in my hands and hips, the collagen has helped me alot, i still get some pain but i only take the collagen once a day, i only take the ibuprofen's once in awhile, mostly when i've over did it in the garden

I was planning on making bone broth from ox tails...would that work?

you'll have to tell me how it taste, i haven't been able to make a good tasting one yet, i have to be doing it wrong

Opps my bad, no "sticks" are my crutches. I broke my hip back in July, then it snapped were the screws were put in it Sept 25th. Wasn't in pain until the second surgery, since then it's been almost 24 hours non stop pain.
