I agree, the WD is in Auburn so we don't get there often. But you can have their butcher cut steaks or roast however thick you want it.Had a friend that was a butcher at Winn-Dixie, they had the best meat of any other chain store.

Yep, he has been working at W-D since just out of high school. He'd bring me some steaks every now and then and they were just like the old time butcher shop steaks.I agree, the WD is in Auburn so we don't get there often. Then there is a problem in the wiring, they should never pop. The electrician that did the work here said the arc faults came about because people ran extension cords under rugs and they would abrade unseen. Then there could be an arc under the rug and catch it on fire. I'm sure I've missed some but I have NEVER heard of anyone having a fire caused by arcing. Seems just another way to make us pay, those AF breakers are friggin expensive.Electrician wired everything last week. Power is hooked up. Insulation is in the walls. I believe the vapour barrier is going on next.
Does the US require arc fault breakers down there? It's code here, and the bloody things pop non stop.
Or that place Debby and Frankenfoot WON'T be moving to because all the rich people are moving there since they can't afford the places the very rich are buying into? I think you mentioned that some time back.that place Debby and Frankenfoot will one day be moving to so we can be neighbors
Nope, Ground Fault Interrupter is for wet areas, they aren't the same as Arc Faults. The common wire (white) goes back to the Arc Fault breaker, not to the common bus bar as we old people would expect. There required in some applications. Their called (GFI) ground fault interrupter. If you lose ground they trip and shut off the power to whatever you have hooked up to it. Moisture is a big problem with GFI's, the slightest bit will make them trip. I don't like them at all.
How heavy? I bought a 35 HP tractor this summer. Been wanting one for various reasons but the pond drying up was the straw that pushed me over. Taught myself to use the FEL and backhoe, you can learn anything on YouTube it seems, then it is just practice. Assuming you don't have ledge, I'm quite certain I could dig out a root cellar. That means you could too!I really wish I had a proper food cellar, but until I learn to operate heavy equipment that's not going to happen.
piggly wiggly is pretty good tooHad a friend that was a butcher at Winn-Dixie, they had the best meat of any other chain store.
my butcher used to work for a & p grocery store, but a & P went out of business many years ago, before he died he taught another mutual friend but he went blind about 7 or 8 years ago, then had a stroke , have found another one i like, he butchered a young bull for us and i like him but hes so busy you have to get on his waiting list .Yep, he has been working at W-D since just out of high school. More and more it's hard to find private butchers. The farmer I buy beef from was telling us how their butcher also has a waiting list....but doesn't always do what the want. Keeps offal like bones and liver, that they give free with your order. But can't find anyone better.my butcher used to work for a & p grocery store, but a & P went out of business many years ago, before he died he taught another mutual friend but he went blind about 7 or 8 years ago, then had a stroke , have found another one i like, he butchered a young bull for us and i like him but hes so busy you have to get on his waiting list .
yeah, i tried one about a mile from the house that had taken over the business from his father, my opinion, hes a crook, i think he switched my beef for another, was suppose to give me my bones, liver, heart & tongue, he had my directions on how i wanted it cut and how i wanted packed per pound, nothing was what i wanted, when i asked about my bones, i got a box of someone elses box, with name on it, also toughest meat i've had in my life, my beef was young so should have been tender, to this day i will tell anyone i think hes a crookMore and more it's hard to find private butchers. Golly that sounds like he switch your meat with an older animal. You are paying good money for a service that should not include such a big "tip"yeah, i tried one about a mile from the house that had taken over the business from his father, my opinion, hes a crook, i think he switched my beef for another, was suppose to give me my bones, liver, heart & tongue, he had my directions on how i wanted it cut and how i wanted packed per pound, nothing was what i wanted, when i asked about my bones, i got a box of someone elses box, with name on it, also toughest meat i've had in my life, my beef was young so should have been tender, to this day i will tell anyone i think hes a crook
