The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Electrician wired everything last week. Power is hooked up. Insulation is in the walls. I believe the vapour barrier is going on next.

Does the US require arc fault breakers down there? It's code here, and the bloody things pop non stop.
There required in some applications. Their called (GFI) ground fault interrupter. If you lose ground they trip and shut off the power to whatever you have hooked up to it. Moisture is a big problem with GFI's, the slightest bit will make them trip. I don't like them at all.

You all sure were chatting it up last night! Kind of fun to read back over it all :)

I'm going to call our vet this morning and see if she'll take a look at Opie. He's still not his usual self and I'm worried about him. It's like his "spark" is gone. I miss my old ornery boy.
hope they can find out whats wrong and fix it

Were they right next to the packaged chicken that he would eat? Seems the feet weren't likely cut off and the chickens put back in the coop ;)

You don't want 40 gallons of stock?? Well, me either, can't imagine how long it would take to use up let alone the freezer space to keep it.
i would image that rj canned it, would need shelf space, not freezer space.
when we were young and raising ds i would can a couple hundred tomato's, juice, whole tomatoes, stewed tomatoes and tomato soup. but that was then, don't need anywhere near that much for just the two of us. i left the freezer for vegetables and meats, altho i sometimes canned beef too

Will do! I found several recipes and w ok lol probably do a mash up of my favorites.
we went shopping this morning, ollies first, bought a few things, then had lunch out, then stopped at public's (grocery) on the way home. while in the meat section noticed they had butchers bone broth, a pint for 6.49

Oh Publix grocery stores were one of the best things about living in Florida! Loved their stores.
