You can have it back Debby!!
She likes snow. You should see her chase squirrels in it.
It is awful hard to do this final kindness...you know they won't suffer anymore, but it still makes your heart ache. Just know that we all have to pass on, and the best any of us could ask for is to go to sleep in the company of our dearest loved ones. My deepest sympathies go out to you.Well... we put Gator to sleep tonight. He is hopefully flying high with our previous dog, Bailey.

It is rare now. They are usually settled at this time but this is an odd yearAhh okay, that makes sense. So I would guess it is relatively rare for this time of year? Have not heard anymore since and have not heard any the past few weeks or even couple months so it is odd and maybe I am insane or something but I almost wonder if it wasn’t either Gator saying goodbye before he went up, since he loved watching geese, or maybe nature/the animals saying their goodbyes or something if that’s a thing. Or it could just be a later migration cause of El Niño and warmer weather this year and I’m just crazyI normally don’t believe in that stuff but considering I haven’t heard or seen either in weeks, it was odd
I have someone else listed tomorrow. Teila on the 30th. Which at the right time here tomorrow IS the 30th in Australia.Isn’t @Teila’s birthday also coming up tomorrow - or Saturday, depending on date zones?? Wonder where she’s been hiding....
Me too. I hope she comes back.I haven't seen Teila around forever...seems she got the job working from home and hasn't been around since. Too bad, I liked her!
Samantha was the same though we didn't stay for the second shot. I've held enough animals (worked weekends at a Vets when I was in college) when they were euthanized and there would be no difference had we stayed. She knew we were with her when she went to sleep for the last time.My dad and brother say that the vet gave him like a tranquilizer type thing and then he just fell asleep in their laps while they were petting him and the vet gave him the shot and they just kind of watched his chest stop and the vet let them sit with him a while after. So it was very peaceful.
