That’s what nightmares are made of!At our ranch, you'd be asleep at night and wake up to hear a rat squeal, a few minutes later you'd hear a slither...always scared the crap outta me!

You are brave!!i know they serve a purpose but given a chance i'll kill them, daddy always said kill the poisonous ones but leave the non-poisonous ones alone, at home i have 5 or six garder snakes in my greenhouse that are use to me coming in and working, they sometimes startle me when i forget they're there and i almost put my hands on them

Good morning all! It’s -15 right now. Hubby already has the wood stove fired up. I’m hoping the snowplow goes by today so we can maybe get out of here.
They were under the house but it would still keep you awake at night. Finally, poured a concrete pier and beam type foundation and the problem went away. That’s what nightmares are made of!
no dyc. just grew up with lots of snakes being from florida, and if i had been afraid of them would not ever gone outside, momma found a moccasin one time in the silverware drawer at breakfast, 5' rattlesnakes were quite common in those days not to mention pygmy rattlers, moccasins(cotton mouths) copperheads, coral snakes, most of the poisonous ones but we also had alot of good snakes too, black snakes, rat snakes, king snakes, greensnakes (had one of those in the pear tree that sometimes was low enough for me to catch and play with) so needless to say, i like snakes, frogs and turtles, those were the "toys" i had to play with, no dolls for meYou are brave!!
