The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Yup, just a snag. We all go to that dark place in our own head at some point in life. I tend to isolate and cocoon so I totally get that. I appreciate that you opened up to me.
:hugs:hugs:hugs

I seem to be going there a little more often lately but thankfully I do still come out of it and I’ve been going there less. And thank you, I appreciate that you listened :hugs :hugs

I had a cheddar cheese and spinach omelet and a banana for brunch earlier. No pancakes today and the banana was only cause I was so starving waiting for it to cook cause I had been up for hours and not eaten yet. And I used two eggs from my own chickens finally! :D tasted much better lol still only have one laying (forgot to collect yesterday) but it’s better than no eggs.

Here's one good reason I like living in a warmer place: the egg factory don't shut down in the winter!
The basket is one days worth. Everyone layed one today!

That’s awesome!! I wish I had a full basket like that aha between molting, the shorter days and cold, and their age, they stopped in the fall aha they turned 3 in October so they've been slowing down some anyway but usually lay pretty well. Although the one that is laying seems to be having like blood or intestine or bits of something in the eggs lately

Ham and cheddar quiche for brunch! Y'all come 'n get it!View attachment 1631276
Yum!
That's a good looking quiche Becca! Back when we lived in FL and had an excess of eggs, we made a lot of quiche.

It's been a long time since I've had an excess of eggs. :hmm
One of my girls started laying again 2 days ago, both days I found them frozen. I wasn’t even checking as noone was laying. I hate buying eggs.
