I used to live south of there in a town called Springfield (half way between Dayton and Columbus).
I'm actually looking at planting a buckeye tree this year.

Yes, I m well familiar with Springfield! I lived in Lima and then in Columbus for a total of 26 years. It's a good state but much too cold for me. Good luck with your buckeye tree! I'm just gonna make buckeye candy!

Speaking of Ohio, I’ve been looking more into Cincinnati like you mentioned and it really does seem like a really cool city and very reasonably priced too compared to a lot of other cities. Also considering right across the river in Kentucky or even possibly Indiana.

How much longer do you have to wait? I bet you're more than sick of all that.

Well... our contractor hasn't been here in 2 weeks. He was supposed to be here on the 27th, but he had to help his mom move some stuff. On the 28th his furnace broke. On the 2nd he had a stomach bug. On the 3rd his mom was in the hospital. On the 4th his mom is having tests done.......
Hopefully if he gets back to work, things will be wrapping up by the end of the month.

I think a lot of countries are making tail docking and ear cropping illegal and more are starting to look at dew claw removal too. Gator used his all the time too as does Libby.

Ear cropping has been illegal for a couple of years now. Tail docking became illegal this past summer here.

I briefly had a greyhound. One day he was standing by the coffee table. He wagged his tail and cleanly sliced a water glass in half.
