Good morning everyone!

Sounds like temperatures are getting a bit friendlier for everyone :)

Just got off the phone with DH, getting a progress report. Guess things are moving along up there. I'll go up next week and take some pictures.

Enjoy your Saturday everybody :D

So you just dig the ditch next to the plants/row? And that's sufficient water for them as opposed to watering at the base? How big a ditch? Like width and depth?
Depends on how much water you need to put down. LOTS bigger for acres of crops ;)
For that trellis and similar length plantings I make them 2 or 3" wide and about 1" deep, enough to keep the water from spreading sideways. You want the "ditch" to be nearly level so the water doesn't run downhill so fast it doesn't have time to soak in. Similar size for individual plants and you can link the "moats" with a "ditch" so you can water several at once without having to move the hose.

Found a new recipe and I really like it...they're called Gingerdoodles. It's like a mash up of gingerbread and snickerdoodle cookies.
Looks like another winner for the restaurant!

Walnuts are good and cheaper and usually have a $ 1.00 off cpn. in the ads, but, if I eat too many they start to taste bitter.
To me the first walnut is acerbic, I avoid them.

It is identical scenery. Both are mine. The colors changed. This one is my sister’s. Sorry for the confusion.
You were just checking to see if we were paying attention! Very pretty.

It’s supposed to get close to 30 today and mostly sunny:celebrateWe just got one deck shoveled off and will do the other shortly while there is no wind.
Quite the swing! We aren't going to make 20°F but then our low was -8° and the lowest windchill was around -25°F IIRC. THANK YOU for not sharing your lows and "Real feel" with us!!
