The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

I have the thermostat turned down low, so rarely am too hot in the flannel/fleece shirt with no cover or sheet.

I use flannel sheets all year round. They don't get clammy and they draw perspiration away. Use a ceiling fan on days when the air conditioning doesn't get the second floor lower than 87F.

Sleeping single in a double bed, is cooler than it would be. :( Nothing wrong with sleeping commando as long as you don't scare any house guests to death, I reckon

The bedroom door pops open(even when locked). Remember ages ago when my young son wanted to keep me out of his room. Yes, I did knock. He put scotch tape across the door and was very surprised when I walked in anyway.

:gigI found new sheets that don’t make me sweat. I am picky on my sheets. The brand is Threshold from Target. I liked them so much I bought 4 sets.

Thanks Becca...I'll add that to my list of pajama sources!

Debby the reason they don't sell cold sleep ware in Wyoming is cause no one there would wear it. It's common in the deep south cause folks there will.

Can you explain why the Key West K-Mart store used to sell sleds? The record cold temperature there is 42*.

Blooie and I used to commiserate with each other over the lack of flannel pj's. She couldn't find any up in nw WY either.

Maybe there's some sort of invisible anti-flannel bubble over Wyoming?

I'll have to tell my son, he has a condo (here they would call it a townhouse) and are not allowed to have air conditioning. He just has ceiling fans. He hates Wally World and does his shopping at Tarzhay

that's good - but nothing happening recently to generate any sweating.:gig
I’m at that hotflash age:gig
PS what are the sheets made of ? He usually gets percale.
I love Percale.

Sorry. I never did have hot flashes. I told my doctor that I would get "chills" off and on even on hot days. He said some women do - I think he made that up. :gig But it sure beat the symptoms my friends were getting.
