The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Ahem....so, er....ah...blush blush...did anyone notice anything different about my profile pic? :lau

Congrats on your 5 year badge!
(That's what's different, right? I'm not reading ahead, don't want to spoil the mystery.)

@Blooie good to see you! I sure hope the docs figure out what's going on with Ken.

Your Kendra story made me laugh. She's such a character. :love

We sold our house and are moving 3rd April. We are buying a caravan to put on my parents 10 acre block up north, which is a short walk from my sisters house, until we find a piece of land that's just right for us. Our kids are thrilled they'll be able to see their cousins lots. 'Tiny house' living will be interesting over winter with 2 kids, a dog and 3 cats. But I'm excited and it means we can slowly move the chickens and birds rather than having to try and do it all on moving day.

Meanwhile one pair of our cockatiels nested in a ridiculous spot where we didn't notice (I sure don't miss open homes) and have hatched one chick with another in the process of hatching (should pop out today). Hopefully moving doesn't put them off parenting but the chicks will be about a month old so it should work out.

I was really bad today and had a frozen Hungry Man dinner but I have been eating pretty healthy lately so thankfully eating one frozen dinner isn’t really a huge deal BUT it wasn’t very good and the chicken was soggy which is my reason for mentioning this because I have got to start cooking more. This particular one looks very easy to make (except maybe the apple dessert but that’s not really necessary anyway) and would probably taste much better. Posting here cause I figure maybe one of you has a recipe. :p obviously not gonna eat it again tonight but maybe one of these days. And I like Salisbury streaks too and most of the frozen dinners they sell except the frozen part. Would like to start making them myself and/or cooking other stuff. I really don’t eat frozen dinners at all anymore but someone bought them and there was one left. But I want to cook more cause I usually eat out and/or wait to eat until late so that I only end up eating once a day.

YAY, you sold your house! :ya Now you can get on with the next stage of things. I bet your kids are going to have a lot of fun with the caravan being close to your sister's house.

Congratulations Jae!
