We now have 2 baby cockatiels. :ya We've seen both get a feed which is always a relief, especially seeing as they are first time parents. Dottie is soooo jealous!

Big baby is getting fed, little one has a pine shaving stuck to it.

Neon is having a nosy in this one. Little bub is just a ball of fuzz and big bub is still eating (his mother had fed him before she and Chilly swapped)!

@KDOGG331 Frank's colouring is gorgeous! Hope you can figure out how to keep madam Libby in.

Here's one with a 5 star rating... You could search copy cat recipes for cracker barrel https://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/bobby-deen/bobbys-chicken-fried-chicken-recipe-2200853

Thanks Bob!! That looks like a good one!! Will have to try it.

Thank you!! We all think so too lol and I hope so too!! I shared this article with her and I think she is going to try some of the suggestions mentioned. Hopefully one of them works.

KD I'm still amazed at the color similarities. Although todd has black eyes. In these pix he's been trying to catch a chipmunk that ran into a pvc pipe in the mud. He's a serious mess.

I am amazed by it too!! And yeah, I think Frank’s somewhat change depending on the light hah and oh wow what a silly (and muddy) boy!! :lau it seems Todd has gotten a bit darker now? Frank has gotten darker as he has grown too but he is still pretty light. You can now pretty clearly see the light and dark areas, like has chest/underside is really light and his neck and stuff but then his back has gotten really red and he also has some areas that are more of a white and other areas that are more of a cream. He was really really light, almost white, as a puppy (except for the ticking and the orange ears). I will have to find some pictures. And they even carry their tails the same way!! Frank’s has gone up recently too. Well, probably been up a few months now. He carries it like that.

Todd is a very cute mud puppy.

X2

It took him two days to clean off the mud. Now he's as fresh as new.:gig:lau:gig:lau

Oh wow lol

Frank once got covered head to toe in mud, I don’t know if I ever posted the pictures here, I think I did, but anyway, I took them to a field/beach and it was low tide and he went way out and laid down in the mud as well as ran around and played with the other dogs out there. COVERED in mud. It still hasn’t even fully come out of the car. It mostly has and doesn’t smell now but I think it stained the rubber mat back there :lau and it took forever to bathe him and get all the mud and sand out of his coat and even then, there was still a bit of mud and sand I had missed. Libby got covered in mud too and the white on her was black but she is so short haired it was easy to wash out. But with Frank being so long haired and thick coated and with him also being a bit scared of bathes and trying to sit down/get away, it took forever to even just get the water to penetrate his coat let alone get the mud off. :lau

He's finally clean but it took him a couple days to lick off all the mud. We were contemplating giving him a shower, but when it was obvious he was taking care of it, we just left him to his own devices.

That’s good he took care of it himself!!

With our last dog, we got dressed in swim suits and did a shower. Todd has never experienced such a thing so we were trying to figure out how to tackle it. The fact that he cleaned himself made the whole thought process simpler. He is so different than any dog I've ever worked with.

Oh wow that sounds like an interesting experience! Lol with Gator we just used the hose but with Libby and Franklin I think they usually just do it inside. I put them in the tub and thankfully their shower head detaches so it’s easy to move around and stuff so no need to get in with the dog. But that’s awesome!! He seems like a really cool dog and smart.
