The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Heads up everyone...tomorrow is April Fool's Day so be on the look out for some sort of BYC shenanigan!

Has anyone figured out the trick today? I think I've found it, but will keep quiet about it, don't want to spoil the fun.

Morning Sharron! Did you and your hubs get that lake wall done that you mentioned?
no, we had one problem after another, the trash pump leaked like a sieve where hose attached, husband took hose off, looked in and there was a chip in the metal, he filed it smooth and it still leaked, so not enough pressure, then he found the gasket on the other end was like a wet piece of cardboard, he did get it to pressure out some of the sand and ran into where when they first put in the retaining wall, they put down some kind of metal wall first, thru the years it broke up to pieces and since there wasn't enough pressure to move it, he had to try to dig it out, no posthole digger down here so i told him just to cement the bottom of the post in and then cut the post off where he wanted it height wise, so thats where we stand at the moment
hope everything is going ok with new job for you:thumbsup
now we have to take that pump back early this morning so we don't get charged another day

Morning Bob, what's on your agenda for the day?
I get to train someone today on a report that I've finally gotten my arms around. Makes sense as she has better access to the information than I do. But it's taken me months to get a handle on it, and now that it's smooth reporting every month its time to hand it off.

That sounds like a hard job, hope it all ends up ok in the end.

I'm not doing a new job, just going back to the one I've been doing the past 3 summers (it's a seasonal job). But thanks anyway!
