The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

big time, not to mention getting hive type marks that fade like a blood blister, don't know what it is unless its lyme disease
Thats scary!
Back when I lived in KS, a friend of mine worked for some company that hired people to check expiration dates in grocery stores. She said she was shocked when learning some of what went on with dates on food. One place would actually re-wrap meat that was expiring and then label it with a new date. My friend kind of liked the job but said some of the store management wasn't so crazy about her.
I bet they weren’t!!

Wow! You got alot of irons in the fire! We were looking at Craigslist and saw a wooden playhouse that was being given away, I wanted to get it to use for a mini coop, but it was too far away. Its hard to do much with those pre-fab coops imo. Big enough for 2 Bantams and that's about it.

Have you tried an orbital hand sander for the cabinets? They are lots faster and easier on the back and arms.
I used a heat gun mostly. The bottom layer of paint just ended up spreading thinly over the entire surface. A belt sander with 40 grit solved that.

I just started cooking supper and was looking for the date on my brats...usually I do that at the store. They were outdated in October. I bought them a couple weeks ago. Hattie will enjoy them. Wish I would have saved my slip:hmm
guess that shows you have to check before you either buy them or as soon as you get home.
years ago went to the store with sister and her husband, i wasn't paying attention as the cashier check me out til on the way out bil asked me how much was that chicken, cashier had run it thru as 25.50 instead of 2.55, since then i try to watch as they run it thru

I usually do check. I even have my boys check when I send them to the store. Thats what happens when you get in a hurry!

Safe travels Sharron
thank you, how did you get back home? fly or drive?
Sorry to hear that Sharron. Hope the doctor can figure out what's going on and how to treat it.
sure he will, hes pretty good, if he can't figure it out, he'll send me somewhere where maybe they can

Thats scary!

I bet they weren’t!!
well, at least it doesn't hurt, just looks terrible and let me tell you, for me, the scary part is showing him where most of it is, very very old fashioned, i even had a woman dr deliver our son:old

Your lettuce looks great Sharron! Love the Iris, one of my favorite flowers.
