well, i now have the washer that was waiting in the wings for me, it was my sisters old one, it has a agitator and not a water saver, happy is being able to wash clothes that doesn't take 45 minutes for a Quick load lol husband went over to sisters old apt and brought it over, i helped him move the dryer, take the water savor out and put "new" washer in then cleaned up while he took my old one over to her apt til we have it repaired ( shes in a nursing home now) :wee:wee
happy people for washer, not sister in nursing home, sorry that just didn't look or sound right:confused:
I'm glad it worked out for you. Hubs has a new fangled HE washer that was his mother's before she passed. I hate it alot. Takes forever, locks down when it starts, and doesn't seem to work better than the old used agitator I had before I left Baton Rouge.

Maytag washer here will be 36 in May. It is loud but I don't care, I close the laundry room door and it's not so bad. I did several loads Fri-Sat. Anything but, touch all the dishes, pans and silverware/plastic ware sitting in the sink. Think I've mentioned I have double sink but each side is shallow and tiny.Soak a soup pot and can't fit anything else in there.

I like my new Maytag. It doesn’t take as long as the old one to wash a load but still longer then I want it too. It’s very loud though. You hear every switch in its cycle.
Haven't heard of the Maytag man in a long time. Wonder if he is still around. Jesse White may have been the original if I'm thinking right. Pretty sure he is long gone.

I remember when he passed away, don't recall his real name. The newspaper carried the story. I think his replacement was a young, very nice looking guy, and women didn't bother to listen to what he was selling. If you know what I mean.
