I have a cousin I grew up with an hour to the east of where we'll be. My brother, his wife, my mother and the handicapped nephew that lives with her will be a bit over 2 hours to the east of us.

Close enough but not too close, lol.

I think the realtor we hired will move things along. She doesn't get paid until the house sells so she's anxious. We won't have to buy a house, at least until we're ready to...the company DH will be working for is providing a house for us to live in. Bonus!

So glad you will have company and help in your end of the move.

Just wondering, will the realtor use the "ready made farm" as a plus in the sale? There seems to be a lot of our New Members who have just bought property that comes with their own flock and farm animals - IMO it can be a positive note for some and a negative for others.

Antelope! I have never seen one - bet they are pesty creatures like deer for gardens and landscape flora?

Actually Sour (good morning to you Sir) I think Sunflour has short term memory issues, as she claimed yesterday that she will not be around too much - she's zooming around BYC like a woman possessed!
