The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Well, folks you might think me a bit weird, but good things do happen on BYC. DW and I have a really close friend here we've been chatting with for quite some time. We've decided we have plenty of room in our lives for extra grand kids... So with her consent, we've virtually adopted a new granddaughter. Would you like me to introduce her?

Well meet Kayla @HuffleClaw the newest light of our lives.

Congratulations Bob :clap

Hi Kayla, it's nice to see you here (and congrats on some awesome new g-parents :D )!

Awww that’s awesome!!!

Now thanks to BYC I have a true name for it "Stink eye."
In our family it is called "The BLACK look". DD2 has it as does DW's brother.

That waste of human skin needs somebody to knock the soup out of her, and by golly I know just the person to do it, too!!!! Oh, Bru-uce!!! :frow
ME??? WHY me?? Now iff'n I were there and it were my wife I'd likely have clocked the attacker before I engaged my brain. But I'm generally a non confrontational person, sometimes to a fault.

Ready for a lighter note??
Oh boy, I got to like both videos twice!! (The secret is to be subscribed to Blooie's YouTube channel and get alerts :D )

Also this confused me for a second because I only know of Buffalo, New York and I KNOW you’re not coming all the way out here
Hey, Buffalo is only 400 miles, an 8 hour drive from here. If @Blooie and Ken were actually going to Buffalo, NY I'd find a way to get there.

Okay wow Old Orchard Beach is cool. I need to visit sometime and not just pass by on the train. Didn’t realize they had a literal amusement park lol
Summer tourist locale.

I think I probably would too!! I think it’s about the same from here.

Yup! It definitely is for sure! But I think I’d like to try being a tourist there at least once :lau

I’m not sure I’d like to go during prime tourist season though. I’d probably be annoyed by all the people :lau

I used to love Chuck E.Cheeses when my son was young. They hadn't invented stuff like that when I was a kid.

Kdogg. My son worked his way through college because I sure as heck couldn't help him out financially. He had a grant and a scholarship or two plus worked the computer help desk. That's where he met the best friends he still has. His computer professor got him extra work researching patents and he made $ 60 per hour plus told him to charge for computer use, paper .etc etc. He did very well for himself. Funny the professor looked enough like my son to be his father He also had red hair and the same invisible eye lashes.

Russell Crow was fantastic in the movie "Gladiator." My doctor got me to see it, it was his favorite movie,

Russell Crow was even more fantastic in an older movie 'THE BEAUTIFUL MIND" fairly certain that won an Oscar for the year-maybe him too.

BTW "Rocketman," was great- Taron Egerton didn't just "play" Elton John, He became him. Just a really, really, really good movie. If they hadn't released it so early in the year I bet it would be nominated for an Oscar. The best I've seen this year. I even teared up at the end. Only do that for movies where a dog gets killed or dies. Couldn't help it.
