couple of weeks ago, yes.......

I had a great hatch, especially with a cheap styro still air incubator.......lol sold all of those chicks at a week old.......

we also have sold most of the chicks from the previous hatch, at 10 weeks old.......that means we have more room in our yard....

and with our eggs we are getting from the older hens, having fertility around 90% (9 out of ten, for two days in a row I checked) we may very well be hatching some of our own eggs, very soon...

I'm going to whine for a minute so skip if you aren't up to it...

Part of what's making this move so hard is that the company DH is going to work for provides a house for us but other than a general description, we have no idea what it looks like, size of rooms, etc. All we know is it has 2 bedrooms and a garage. Sure makes it tough to know what we'll be able to fit and what we have to get rid of.

And what is it with people anyway? A guy we know was thrilled when we offered him our leather couch and loveseat, we told him it had a small tear but he said anything was better than the nothing he had now. Now he doesn't want it. Why? Because it has a small tear in it. For crying out loud, throw a pillow over it...it's free! Then there's the neighbor that wants some of DH's tools. DH took him to the shed to show him what he has and the guy fixates on a roll of 6mil plastic...that's the one thing DH said was not going to be given away because we need it.

Ok, I'm done for now. I'll try to keep the whining to a minimum. Promise!

Yard sale.
If they get it for nothing they will want you to pay them to take it away.
If you ask for money they will want you to drop the price, and
If they can't whittle you down on the price they will steal it.
Can you ship it all there and get rid of it when you know you do not need it?
