'Mr' , I'm getting that a lot lately. :old Yesterday I had to make last minute arrangements for a contractors dumpster as I was given a last minute notification of roof replacement to be done at the beagle club. :rant Dealt with an individual in Indiana to get a dumpster in NJ :idunno. Long story short had to deliver a check to the local company - they didn't accept checks ? What ? We've dealt with them for 50 + years. Really efficient Colombian lady dealt with me, and we 'got it done'. She called me Mr George. Brought back the memories as when working I supervised a Colombian worker who always called me Mr George. Good memories as she was a really good person/ worker.

Yes, I bought two packing crates for $5 each. I used the tops of the crates for front and back. Put a board in each corner to attach the sides. Used plywood i had for the other parts. I had a 12' piece of roofing tin, which I cut in half.

normally i don't bother with them cause we always had too many trees for them to get enough sun but we've lost a lot of our trees due to the boers coming thru and killing them, we lost all of our white ash trees, some had to be around a hundred years old, pines are dying here and there( certain types) we do have some young trees coming but mostly what i call trash trees and lately we've been getting oak trees coming up and i have no idea where they're coming from, no oaks here, i kinda guard those, anyway went to the auction the other week and these came thru so a friend and i bought them all (i took four or five and she took the rest) these are a small yellow bloom w/"freckles, i like yellow otherwise i wouldn't have bothered, while walking around she found a varigated leaf one and bought me one too so these are the ones i need to get into the ground, husband cut a barrel into 2 pieces and made me a planter for them

When I grew them I had the red/orange colored ones. Hummingbirds love'em!

right now all i see are the male hummers, i make sugar water for them and hang it from the porch, i can watch when when washing dishes, never noticed them at the cannas
 
sean,i'm not a good picture taker but maybe you can get the idea, second one just because i think the color is beautiful
