The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Oh it is, a neighbor made it when I was a young kid growing up in North Texas. She would make the preserves, then in the winter, make cakes out of the preserves.
I remember one time in particular, it was snowing, iciy and extremely cold. I was out duck hunting and she stopped me and called me into her home to warm up. She gave me the cake to take home, it was fresh out of the oven and nice and warm. I was on a sled and tucked the cake under my chest and it kepted me warm all the way home. It tasted so good when I got home, still warm and just melted in your mouth. :drool

Went to the swap and sold a bunch of animals. Its was good but hot on the asphalt.
good for you, i hope i can do the same, early tho, don't think i can handle the heat , at least not for awhile, but i know i couldn't handle cold either:lol:

I got up at 5:30, finished packing the truck, left at 6:30, arrived just after 8 am despite fog almost the whole trip.

i'm going to try to get up at 5 , load everybody and leave by six , only have to go an hour trip but i want to get a good spot to park, hope i do as well as you, guess if i don't i can always eat them but really don't want to do that

Yes, hubby about fainted when I went to bed at 11pm.
