Mornin', all. My son turns 20 today. Poor guy, all his life, whenever he tells somebody when his birthday is, they remark, "Earth day." Sorta like my younger brother, who had the (mis)fortune to be born on the 8th of January; "no, I'm sorry, you must have misunderstood me. I said it was my birthday, who is this Elvis person?"

We used to have street musicians in Macon decades ago - those days when the only place to shop was in a real downtown ( before shopping Malls took over ) - and we never had any like that. Ours were older, usually handicapped amputees . But quite good Rhythm and Blues musicians.

Keeping my fingers crossed to be able to finish moving that load of compost today - a fun day off

N F C - are you sleeping on the mattress or Futon ? Either is better than the floor :> I know the move is a good one, but it is hard to give away your animals - at least you found them homes.

Blooie - I had forgotten that Katie had learned to play the guitar - I do remember that Now from a past post.

My son turns twenty this summer.
I do not believe we are old enough to have such mature children.
Sigh.
however, It is a nice feeling to know we have turned out some decent people who will help the world be a better place, even if it went all too fast.

We have a friend who has a fourth of July birthday. He thinks it is great, there is always a party somewhere.
