Good morning everyone :)

This is my weekend off and it's going to be a nice one outside. I live vicariously through everyone else in summer but this time of year is pretty nice. The cool season garden is growing and we have a dozen chicks in the mini coop. Hubs tore a tendon in an ankle a couple of weeks ago, we are FINALLY going to see a surgeon on Wednesday. We were walking the dogs and I heard what sounded like a dry tree branch snap and then I heard the foul language. When I turned around I knew it wasn't good, I ended up getting the car and going back for him. So, it's crazy busy for me sometimes but I've been thinking about you all. I hope you're all doing great and staying warm and safe!

I'd breed & hatch chicks & he'd raise them from there. That way we can sell POL pullets & breeding trios next spring. I hatched another 70ish more chicks. Now he's decided that he doesn't like buckeyes (smaller than he thought they'd be). So I had to bring home 46 pullets today.....

That's terrible Michelle :he What a way to let someone down. Will you be able to unload some of those chicks to other people? Kind of a tough time of year maybe to sell chicks. Sorry that happened to you!

Thank you! I'm still celebrating today:) DH & I are going up to Casper later today...make some more plans for the house, go to a movie, out to dinner. I'll be home tomorrow and probably ready for a nap!

Michelle, I know all too well how that goes... I did a late hatch custom for a guy, who never showed up to collect his chicks. I don't have an indoor brooder, the reason I don't hatch this late in the year.

Hi IM, I hope DH's doc appointment goes well and they get him fixed up quickly. And I hope life slows down a bit for you.

sure hope husband is ok, sometimes you would just like to slap those medical people up side the head, sometimes i think they should keep some hours free for emergencies
