The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

I have Delta Dental insurance, their highest level, still doesn't pay great. My dentist tries to squeeze every last cent from them. Great just will empty out the benefits faster.

I skipped going in November twice - first time was okay (no cavities) this time who knows.
the dentist down here don't like this insurance but the doctors love it:idunno

I'm feeling pretty put out by my insurance company today too Sharron. When I picked up the mail there were bills from 2 doctors and 2 hospitals for services done for my ankle. Apparently there are a smorgasbord of reasons why the insurance won't pick up most of the cost but it all boils down to me having to come up with about $1,000 out of pocket.

With nothing to show for all those services (the darned thing is still messed up), I don't know if I want to go to yet another doctor on Thursday. :tongue

ahhh debby, they have us between a rock and a hard place.
i think if it was me, and i wasn't hurting i would just say to heck with it but then its not my bone so maybe you should try to find a good dr.(i know, sometimes very hard) and you are hurting so start asking friends and friends of friends , someone might just know a good one

didn't it used to be if they weren't potty trained they wouldn' take them in daycare?except little babies?
Not so anymore I guess:(
Good morning everyone!

DMC, I don't understand the slacker parents that don't potty train their kids either. Seems if the kids are trained, that makes it easier for the parents (not to mention everyone else). Do the parents expect you & the staff there to do that?

Bob, you're going to have to tell your bosses you can only work part-time. Can't have work cutting into your BYC time!
I don’t either Debby. I think these parents think we can work miracles. Yesterday I asked the parent of the new kid if she has tried potty training and she said no as he has showed no interest. He turned 3 in November. He still has a pacifier. I picked him up from preschool and he had it in his mouth. He was unhappy and I could see he’d had a meltdown. His meltdowns proceeded through most of the day. It took 5 of us employees taking turns with him to settle him down. He finally fell asleep from exhaustion.
Just got home from running errands. There was a sign over the highway...winds of approximately 40+ mph with crosswind gusts 75+mph. It was good to get home!
Wow!

Sorry Debby, that sucks!

I feel sorry for that little boy. He's going to get picked on unmercifully if he doesn't outgrow diapers and pacifiers soon, kids can be pretty mean about stuff like that. I hope his parents wake up and do what they should be doing.
