It's hard to keep doing the job with the end looming. I'm looking forward to a bit of time off to get things done at home but sadly, I'll still have to find another job. I will certainly update on the garden.

I didn't realize you'd have to go all the way to Casper to get your brace. Are you still having pain in your foot?

When I put in my notice for early retirement, that last month was a year long. And I just could not feel motivated to give a you-know-what. So, I understand where you're coming from!

There were only a couple of places in WY where a brace could be made, fortunately Casper was one of them. It worked well to go to my appointment and then stay overnight at our house. That's probably what we'll do again when it's time to go back to get the brace.

Yep, the biggest swing in temp occurred in 1990, from 85°F to 26°F in a few hours. I think they are saying this is the 2nd largest swing.

We aren't swinging up here at all We're at 9* right now with a high of 14* expected. If you aren't using your warmer weather, I'll take it!

Not yet unfortunately. In case you ever wondered...washing dishes in the bath tub is not fun. DH need to access something on the outside of the house and the blizzard put a damper on that. Hopefully today he can get things finished up.

Right!? I think so too.

They just picked him up this past weekend and I might meet him this upcoming weekend.

They wanted him to get a little bit more settled first and Frank & Libby to get a little bit more used to him since, in my brother’s words, “they still get annoyed by him and I don’t want any trouble!”

They also want Wilma to go home first. She gets picked up Friday I think.

So I’ll probably meet him Saturday maybe if all goes well.

Think he is a permanent pack member this time rather than another foster.

Excited to move the chickens in to the new coop today if it stops raining long enough. Still have to set up food and water.
