What do you feel like?” ANNOYED....that’s what I feel like!! You’re taking me out, YOU decide where to take me! :lau

:frow Good afternoon Blooie, happy valentine's day and have a great day.

I don't think they are available as after market, are they?
No I don't think the "beep beeps" can be added on. You can buy a reverse camera rear view mirror but frankly the display is so small I'd be better off getting out of the car and pulling it backward than trying to figure out what I was seeing in the mirror.

The backup cameras are great until you have to get out in and clean them off from snow, mud and salt spray. Then not so much!
Yeah there is that. Same issue with the "beep beeps". I TRY to remember to clear off the camera when I park so it is clean when I need to back out of the parking space. Not a problem in non snow/mud season though.

so we got the Sienna
Any reason you can't take the Sienna to Wally World?

Doesn't THAT make you want to run out and buy one? Me neither.
Nope, plus there is that nasty little issue of the price of even the Tesla Model 3 compared to any other car we could buy.

Ken said we’d take mini-Shrek
Which uses less gas, mini-Shrek or the Sienna?

This is one of my favorite ones (so totally wrong)

Oh, SO romantic!!!!

Man Blooie, I'd have a hard time with that. Even if you knew what you could eat most of the menu would likely be off limits. Nothing like dangling tasty things in front of you and yanking them back when you reach out. Frustrating and depressing.

This is where I rat Blooie out...her and Ken went out and had a great lunch with a bunch of her favorites. Diet be darned. :gig Good for her I say, once in a while a person just has to do what they have to do.

That's our girl! er ... woman!

I agree, since the whole kidney thing is long term, falling off the diet once in a while isn't likely to cause lasting damage. Not like someone who is diabetic and deciding to scarf down a chocolate cake. Good thing Blooie is strong willed though as it will take that quality to stick to a very restrictive diet.

Yep, we started heading for Billings but the road was getting nastier and nastier, so we turned around and went to Cody instead. Oh, Proud Cut, I love thee so! I had a cup of my French Onion Soup with extra cheese, a T-bone steak, medium rare, toast, and an iced tea. I didn’t eat much of the steak, but I never do lately. I rarely finish a meal anymore. Nephrologist said my appetite will improve as my kidney function does. But I do love the Proud Cut!!!

We took Shrek instead of the Sienna that day because Shrek has 4 wheel drive and the snow was really coming down. Out here we can head out shopping and not see another car the whole way, so if we slid off the road it could be hours before anyone came along. And a white van buried in the ditch in a whiteout ain’t easy to spot! So we took Shrek. And in reward for his faithful service, he got dumped for a newer ride. Oh, the shame of it...l

The Sienna and MiniShrek aren’t that far apart in mileage as that goes. Shrek got about 16-18, the Sienna was showing 26 today, and Minishrek had a reading of 22.5 Wednesday, but around here we have to take into account the drive. In the foothills and mountains of course it goes down. In high headwinds, like we had on Wednesday or sidewinds like today it also drops. So mileage around here isn’t something that makes or breaks a car deal for us....it’s gonna vary so much it’s not worth losing sleep over.
