The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

I'm a firm believer in the powers of a chiropractor! How are you doing, Kelsey? Did your appt. go well?

I may have to find one then! I’m sure my neck/shoulders/back are all knotted up  :lau

And I’m doing pretty well thank you!! Got a bit of a headache atm but I’m doing well!

And the appointment went well!! Though I’m thinking of maybe finding a second one. Maybe one with a little bit more training or a different speciality or whatever. I really like her personality wise but I’m not sure I’m making that much progress haha

Hi Debby! :frow

My dad always used to say that their house in Oregon could see all four seasons in the same day & whatever weather was in the front yard was not always the same as in the back yard. :lau
We had rain in the backyard one day in FL. But none in the front yard!

You might want to check into a massage therapist if you've got knots. But you get headaches quite a bit, don't you?

That's good that it went well. I saw on the other thread you were thinking about switching. It may be helpful for you to ask her about her program and how she's goes about things with her patients. Some will spend a lot of time building up trust and not getting into the nitty gritty. That works for some and not for others. Sometimes they just aren't that good at their profession and you need to find one that is.

Making progress, got another side done today! I need to build a door and connect the run panel to the coop with a short 4'x6' panel once I build it.

I may have to try it! Haha idk if I have knots or what but just some pain/tightness or whatever haha

And yeah I do.

And yeah, idk, I’m kind of embarrassed to ask cause I don’t want her to think I’m unhappy or whatever hahah

I think she might be purposely doing the trust thing though maybe haha it’s only like the 4th appointment.

Right now I’m the wrong person to be commenting on ’trust’ with any member of any kind of medical practice.

Side note: When I was the vet tech/kennel manager at the Animal Hospital and Boarding Kennel, we hired a young man who was smart, funny, enthusiastic, a hard worker, and we all just loved him! He was a college student at the time. Erik wanted to become a vet, and the longer he worked for us the more he wanted it. Long after I left there and Ken finally retired, we went back to the area for Jamie’s graduation from Navy Boot Camp, so just for grins we also stopped by the clinic. There were still a few familiar faces there, but I sure thought that with the vet’s serious mentoring, Erik would have been, if not a partner there, at least a working vet. Nope. He washed out of vet school. His office was about 6 miles north, they told us. He became a chiropractor instead.

I know you've read this before: you're the patient, be your advocate. If she's at all bothered by the question, I would find someone else.
