I can arrange for you to get that recipe,nDebby, no problem. But I’ll wait until I get on my computer so typing will be easier. Ken said he’d be happy to share.
So much going on today I’ve barely been on. Evan just found out his GPA today and is he pumped!! 3.665. 89% in English, all A‘s in his other classes. This is the kid who barely got a 2.9 in his other school, so he is one proud kid and so is mom Tam? And success breeds sucesss,so onward and upward!
Katie tried out for the annual school musical tonight. Who cares if she gets a part, besides obviously Katie? To think that a little girl with Autism could blossom like this and try out for a play that runs for 3 nights is phenomenal! The place is always packed for all performances, and Katie tried out for the part of Thedora, but told the drama coach she was willing to take any part or even work on scenery. That’s the attitude, Bug!! I was just as stunned when Jamie came home and told me he’d tried out for Guys and Dolls in high school, and he told them the same thing. Whooda thunk he‘d get the part of Arvide, one of the lead singing parts!! He loved it! She will too!!
Kendra has taken to spelling out “bedtime” every night when she gets sleepy. Tonight Jen was a little slow getting her jammies on and Kendra spelled, “Bedtime. Hurry.” Whoa!!!
And Fiona came home from the boarding kennel tonight. We told her she’s getting a little brother but she wasn’t impressed. Tam got a golden retriever puppy. She’ll be picking him up the last week in March. We got one too. Fiona loves playing with the other dogs at the kennel so much and she gets bored here by herself. So as soon as the puppies are old enough, Ken, Tam and I will be driving to Riverton to pick them up. She’s naming hers Jorgen, pronounced like Yor-gun, but our keyboards don’t do Swedish letters. Mine is either Fingal or Tater Tot. Ken wanted to name him Renal. Um, NO!! So there you have my quiet day.
