Have you all noticed anything different about your local grocery stores lately? I need to go to ours today. With all the news stories about shortages and whatnot, I'm wondering what to expect.

Our store isn't the best at keeping things stocked anyway so this could be interesting.

some things are short but i got everything on my list yesterday but i did go to two stores, i don't buy meat at walmarts, have tried but their meat has no flavor to me, like eating straw altho i do get chicken there.

Debby, we didn't see any shortages here, but TP and water were flying off the shelves.

There are 2 grocery stores in town I can go to. But it's just that much more hassle and I spend too much going to both. I'll see what my local Wally World is like today.

we're big meat eaters so we go to winn-dixie for the meat, they also have bogo on their meats so i usually buy one, get the free one and then put one in the freezer for later, i sometimes get veggies there too but walmarts most everything else,

That last sentence of yours reminded me of a comedian I heard one time. He was talking how during emergencies the stores are always emptied of milk, eggs and bread. He asked, "Is everyone making French toast?"

i did forget to say, they were re stocking everything yesterday, we had got there early so maybe there won't be short things at yours

During normal times our Walmart only has about 3/4 of the things on my list. We'll see how it looks today.

yes, i find that too, that and they move things around from one time to another so you have to hunt where they moved it, i think they do it so you do have to hunt and maybe buy more things than you normally do
